Flower Care Tips

Caring for Fresh Flowers

  1. Trim stems 1-2 inches at a 45° angle with sharp shears or scissors
  2. Remove leaves that sit below the vase's water line
  3. Place flowers in a clean vase with clean, room temperature water
  4. Avoid direct sun, severe temps, or placement by vents or fresh fruit
  5. Keep both vase and water as clean as possible
  6. Replace water every 1-2 days, consider recutting stems as in Step 1
  7. Check for and remove damaged or brown blooms, buds, or stems

Caring for Dry FlowerS

  1. Do not water dry flowers! 
  2. Place in a location with light air flow and low humidity
  3. Avoid direct sunlight and placement near vents and drafts
  4. Dry flowers will fade and become more fragile over time
  5. Seek out a more "permanent" place for your dry flowers to reside
  6. Keep out of reach of pets and kiddos
  7. It is not uncommon for dry flowers to shed petals or seeds
